Keeping your city at 100% Happiness is essential for stable growth, efficient production, and overall progress.
If Happiness drops, your city becomes less effectiveβso maintaining it should always be a priority.
Core Factors That Control Happiness
Happiness in Whiteout Survival is mainly affected by three things:
π₯ Temperature (Furnace)
π² Food (Cookhouse + supply)
π₯ Survivor Health (Clinic)
If these are stable, your Happiness will stay close to 100%.
Step-by-Step: How to Reach 100% Happiness
1. Keep the Furnace at Maximum Power
Your Furnace controls the cityβs temperature.
- Always activate Max Power
- Upgrade Furnace regularly
- Ensure you have enough fuel
π Low temperature = immediate Happiness drop
2. Use Fancy Meals in the Cookhouse
Food quality directly impacts Happiness.
How to:
1. Open Cookhouse
2. Click the small yellow icon next to production
3. Select Fancy Meals
β οΈ Fancy Meals use more food, so your production must support it.
3. Never Let Food Run Out
Food shortage is the most common reason for losing Happiness.
– Keep food production positive
– Upgrade food buildings
– Monitor consumption when using Fancy Meals
π If food hits 0 β Happiness drops fast
4. Assign Sean to the Clinic
Assign Sean to manage the Clinic.
- Improves healing speed
- Reduces sick survivors
- Helps maintain stable Happiness
π‘ Sean is usually your first survivor and can often be found in the Sawmill early on.
5. Assign All Survivors
Idle survivors reduce efficiency and can affect stability.
– Make sure everyone has a job
– Regularly check for unassigned workers
6. Handle Survivor Requests Wisely
Survivors will occasionally ask for decisions.
– Some options increase production
– Others improve conditions
π Choose balanced options to avoid lowering Happiness
7. Improve Living Conditions
Better housing supports long-term stability.
– Upgrade shelters when possible
– Avoid overcrowding
Quick Checklist
- Furnace on Max Power
- Cookhouse set to Fancy Meals
- Food always positive
- Sean assigned to Clinic
- No idle survivors
